Birth of Msgr. Joseph Kuzhinjalil. He was born as the sixth of seven children to Mr. Kuruvila and Mrs. Mariamma in the Kuzhinjalil family of Pravithanam, Meenachil Taluk, Pala within the Archdiocese of Changanacherry.

Received Sacrament of Baptism from Rev. Fr. Mathew Kizhakekkarai at St. Augustin’s Church, Pravithanam. He was given the baptismal name Joseph

Joined Petty Minor Seminary in Changanachery for priestly training.

Received Priestly Ordination from Mar James Kallachery, the Bishop of Changanachery, Mangalapuzha Seminary.

Invitation Letter from Mar Ivanios, for the Mission work in Malankara Catholic Church.

Received a call from Mar Ivanios, the head of the Syro- Malankara Catholic Church, and reached Trivandrum Archdiocese as a Missionay.

Arrived in the mission field of Marthandam and began living in a rented house for 3 Rupees.

Parish Priest-Celebrated Holy Mass and started Missionary work at Marthandam area.

Beginning of the Marthandam Parish and administered the Sacrament of Baptism to newly converted people.
1936 March 17
According to the witness letter of Mar Ivanios, more than 3,000 people received the Sacrament of Baptism.

Purchased land at Marthandam Junction.
1937 April 28
Elyamma (Co-foundress of the Congregation of the Daughters of Mary) and Mary came to Marthandam in the mission field.
1938 May 8
Founded the Congregation of the Daughters of Mary with first three members; Elyamma, Mary and Sosamma.
1939 June 4
Official permission to establish the Congregation of the Daughters of Mary was granted by Pope Pius XI.
1940 June 4
The first Profession was made by Sr. Mary Kallarakal, Sr. Agnes Vadakkan and Sr. Therese Kochukalayil, the first members of the Daughters of Mary Congregation.

First Primary School was started in Marthandam.
1955 October 28
Foundation Stone for the Christuraja Cathedral Church at Marthandam by Fr. Joseph Kuzhinjalil.

Ordination and first Holy Mass of Fr. Y. Joseph Poonthazhavilayil, the first fruit of missionary work at Marthandam.

Raised to the title of Monsignor.

Retirement from Active Apostolic Mission of Marthandam Christuraja Cathedral Church.
1980 January 23
Dedication of the Christ the King Statue over the building of Soosai Illam at Marthandam for the blessing of all People.

Relocation of the tomb to a temporary site, due to the reconstruction of a cathedral in the same site.

Adoration chapel at Canaan was built in the model of the Old Cathedral which he erected, using the stones from the old Christuraja Cathedral Church.
